Best Practice Guide for Local Authority Crisis Support

End Furniture Poverty is urging all local authorities to use their allocation of the Crisis and Resilience Fund to provide essential furniture and appliances – and to help them, we’ve written a guide explaining how to do this in the best way.

The Guide draws on best practice from Liverpool City Council, Cambridgeshire County Council and Surrey County Council, and EFP’s experience from our long-term work examining crisis support across the UK.

As well as outlining why furniture and appliance provision is so important for residents, it also highlights the benefits for local authorities, and details on how to procure and how to deliver.

End Furniture Poverty is also here to help. If you would like to discuss how to set up a local authority crisis furniture scheme, email info@endfurniturepoverty.org
